E-receipt is a fiscal receipt in an electronic form that fully replaces paper receipts. It is a full-fledged fiscal document provided to the customer in the electronic version.
Every fiscal receipt, whether paper or electronic, must be created by a fiscal registering device (e.g. a fiscal printer). By connecting with the fiscal device Spark system enables to issue an electronic version of the receipt and provides access to its readable visualisation, fulfilling all formal duties of the taxpayer. E-receipt provided by Spark HUB is a full-fledged, legitimate and complete fiscal document. So it also allows the customer to return and exchange purchased products.
During the transaction the Spark e-receipt system receives data from the store (its sales system) and fiscal device and uses it as the sole basis for issuing the electronic version of the fiscal documents.
Thanks to the cooperation with leading providers of fiscal registering devices, Spark repository can verify before accepting the e-receipt whether the document was generated in accordance with the law and if it can function as a proof of sale for the customer or of tax payment by the seller.
Such an e-receipt is therefore always up-to-date and authentic. Importantly, no party to the transaction is able to manipulate or delete the transaction data.
No. The term “e-receipt” is more and more often used when referring to certain products or services (e.g. in discount stores apps), which has little to do with a full-fledged fiscal e-receipt.
